When heat travels by radiation it s infrared.
heat from a fire
cooking toast
you feel sunlight on your skin
grilling on a bbq
heat waves that a snake sees
heat waves that an infrared camera picks up
the little red light in a tv remote
a heat lamp that keeps things warm
"light" from a remote control
the little "lamps" on the front that "shine" to turn the TV on and off
what will block them, what will be transparent like glass?
what will reflect it around corners
How could scientists discover something they could not see?
Heat travels in waves is called infra red radiation.
The remote control used in Electronic equipments like TV,Ac,etc is infra red.
It is used in night vision binoculars. Also used to detect hot spots in power plants.
